Evening Dinner at Polraen

The Conservatory Bar & Restaurant at Polraen Country House in the Looe Valley at Sandplace offers a wonderful country garden view. As evening shadows fade across the lawn, we serve a brasserie style menu of genuinely home-made favourites & fish and steak blackboard specials.  Evening dinner is available at Polraen Wednesday to Saturday from 7.00 pm with main course dishes from under £10.  For Advance Reservations, call  01503 263956

Our dishes are individually prepared and largely home-made using fresh ingredients often sourced on the day. This way we can cater for special diets on request. Hotel residents are requested to provide their starter and main course menu choice by 11am.

Restaurants in Looe using Fresh local Cornish produce

Quality Cornish produce and home cooking is a hallmark at Polraen Country House earning us both AA Breakfast and Dinner Awards for good food. The Conservatory Bar & Restaurant continues this tradition. Eat light sharing a pint of king prawns and a glass of wine or Cornish Orchards cider, or make a meal of it with fresh fish from Looe Quay or Cornish reared steak. Our main course dishes may change with the seasons while must have’ puddings like home made pavlova remain constant alongside a distinctly Cornish cheeseboard.

Relax in The Conservatory in the beautiful Looe Valley

The Conservatory Bar & Restaurant at Polraen is a perfect spot to appreciate the beauty of the Looe River Valley and the South East Cornwall countryside. Enjoy a pint of Cornish ale, listen to the birdsong and relax at the end of the day. After a drink in the cosy bar, dine alone or with friends and family in The Conservatory. In warmer weather, even eat al fresco overlooking Polraen’s extensive gardens.
