Your stay at polraen
We all now fully understand that we live in a different world and that our guests will want the reassurance of knowing what we are doing to ensure the safety and hygiene of our establishment.
You can have peace of mind in knowing that we have received approval from both Visit England and the AA to operate as a Covid secure establishment. We developed robust Covid-19 hygiene protocols, reviewed our services and facilities and revised some practices to reduce face to face contact with our guests.
This of course is a somewhat alien concept for us, since our reputation is built on the tradition of warm family-run hospitality. However, the safety of our guests and staff remains paramount as we strive to ensure Polraen remains a wonderfully stress-free relaxing place to stay.

Flexible Reservation policy
Direct bookings benefit from more flexible cancellation terms. In the event of Covid-19 interfering with your plans, we agree to transfer your deposit to alternative dates for up to one year without you losing a penny. All we ask is that you let us know 8 or more days before the original arrival date. Full Details…
Not only do you get a lower rate for booking direct, but our communication with you is direct, not through a third party. This way, we can exercise a superior level of service, taking into consideration the individual needs of our guests.
Covid-19 Guest Information
Measures designed to protect us all have required certain changes to our services and facilities. The lead guest for every booking receives a copy of our guest information sheet prior to arrival.
