While breakfast is really the jewel in our crown, we may be offering evening dinner during your stay in spring and autumn. However, with a picnic conservatory and an array of award-winning restaurants in Looe and nearby, you’ll never be stuck for places to eat.

Evening Dinner
For our Spring and Autumn short breaks, we team up with Katie’s Cornish Hot Pots to serve a choice of satisfying homemade meals and puddings.
From early October, you can add a 2-course evening meal for £20 per person to a midweek reservation at the time of booking or by contacting us up to 48 hours prior to arrival. Evening meal requests made on the day remain subject to availability.
“Judge a Bed & Breakfast’ by the standard of the breakfast and the comfort of the bed”.
Evening in The Conservatory
When dinner is not available at Polraen, you can use our lovely conservatory to sample Cornish food and drink, ‘dining at home’ with your own picnic or takeaway. Even use the BBQ facilities in the garden
Buy a drink from Polraen’s fully licensed hotel bar to accompany your meal while you unwind after a day’s sightseeing. The Conservatory overlooks an award-winning garden surrounded by glorious Cornish countryside so it’s the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the spacious facilities of our country house.
Recommended Restaurants
We’re equally happy to share our knowledge of the many great restaurants in and around Looe serving wonderful Cornish produce. In particular, we recommend The Plough Pub & Restaurant in the nearby village of Duloe at which we can make table reservations on your behalf or indeed, at other restaurants in the area. In Looe, we have our favourites but there’s plenty of choice and a variety of cooking styles to choose from.
